Series: 0x
I discovered generative art when I stumbled upon HTML5 canvas, a very basic element used to draw graphics on a web page. While trying to create quite difficult objects using this tecnique, a syntax error in the code produced a beatiful glitch and I felt in love with the aesthetics. Sometimes randomness winks at you generating amazing results. This triggered my interest on generative art, and after almost a year playing with P5.js and Python, I decided to start publishing my art, and I canβt imagine a better outcome. I learnt a lot of new stuff, met new friends, collected outstanding work from other artists, traded some pieces and got this strong sense of belonging to a movement thatβs doing good things to change the status quo of art.
This is "0x" series: a hommage to cryptocurrencies, cryptoart and the blockchain.
